The semantics around health data was rather narrow in the poll question. For example, health data, such as physical fitness is not medical data.

perhaps "high quality" gets at Ed's issue with "accurate"? Data can be of "high" (or high enough) quality to use for particular purposes without being perfectly accurate.

Data system provides actionable and timely data to support reliable analysis and conclusion
A: Joy Bonaguro
01:50:42

A: Sarah Neville-Morgan

I like Colleen's mention of high-quality as that can capture multiple other items. And reliable also makes a lot of sense vs accurate.

Adding to Chris and other's comments above. It would be helpful to express a degree of inclusion as we build out the system/services to help mitigate bias in our approach. Keeping equity questions in mind.

Keep in mind: The primary benefit of this type of system is the linked data across sources.
Colleen Moore
02:45:21
how would you then calculate transfer rates, if you don't include CCC students who may not have attended any other system?
Jimi Gilroy
02:45:22
Speaking: Barney Gomez, CCCCO
Baron Rodriguez
02:46:27
Usually there are too many data quality issues to include intra agency data in this type of system. It's generally a better practice to pull that data from the source agency directly.

A: Muhammad Akhtar

Agree with Amy. I like the idea of a “parking lot” for research questions that we cannot get to in the short term but nonetheless should be addressed by the system at some point.

will the evaluation consider the actual value-add of the tools - e.g., for CCGI, how extensively is the info from students' planning tools actually used by colleges, is there evidence of improved student progress/outcomes as a result?

Seems appropriate for governing board/entity to have appointments made in statute (by party participating in the system). Political appointments could be made for any “public” members
